Wimpod - Guardians Rising Card Review

-REVIEW-

In this article I will be reviewing Wimpod from the Pokemon Guardians Rising set!
Wimpod is a Basic, grass type Pokemon, with 70 HP. Its set number is 8/125, it has a weakness x2 against fire types, no resistance, and a retreat cost of two colorless energy cards.
Wimpod has two moves, Scamper Away, and Ram. Its first move, Scamper Away requires one colorless energy card and says to shuffle this Pokemon and all cards attached to it into your deck.
Wimpod's second move, Ram requires one grass type energy card and does 10 damage.

-RATING-

For this card's rating I'm going to give it 1/5 stars. In my opinion this is a very weak Pokemon and should not be used in a deck without its evolved form, Golisopod which I will be reviewing tomorrow. It has low HP and two WEAK moves, but that's pretty normal considering most Basic Pokemon aren't very powerful. So that is why I am giving this card a low rating I hope you enjoyed this article and stay tuned for tomorrow's review!

Trevenant - Guardians Rising Card Review

-REVIEW-

In this article I will be reviewing Trevenant from the Pokemon Guardians Rising set!
Trevenant is a stage 1, grass type Pokemon with 120 HP. Trevenant's set number is 7/145, it has a x2 weakness against fire types, no resistance, and a retreat cost of two colorless energy cards. It has two moves, Poltergeist and Horn Leech. Trevenant's first move, Poltergeist requires two colorless energy cards and does 30 damage and says that your opponent reveals their hand, this attack does 30 more damage for each trainer card you find there. Its second move, Horn Leech requires two grass type energy cards and one colorless energy card. Horn Leech does 90 damage and says to heal 30 damage from Trevenant.

-RATING-

For this card's rating I'm going to give it 4/5 stars, In my opinion this is a pretty good card, you can deal a lot of damage with its first move and it can do some good damage with its second move.
I would definitely recommend using this card in a deck with Phantump.
So for this Phantump, Trevenant evolution line I will give it a 4/5 star rating!

Phantump - Guardians Rising Card Review

-REVIEW-

In this article I will be reviewing Phantump from the Pokemon Guardians Rising set!
Phantump is a basic grass type Pokemon with 60 HP. Its set number is 6/145 and has a x2 weakness against fire type Pokemon, no resistance, and a retreat cost of two colorless energy cards. Phantump has two moves, Tackle and Confuse Ray. Phantump's first move,Tackle requires one grass type energy card and does 10 damage. Phantump's second move, Confuse Ray requires two colorless energy cards and makes your opponents active Pokemon confused.

-RATING-

For this card's rating I'm going to give it 1/5 stars, In my opinion this is not a very good card but it would be better with its complete evolution line which I will be reviewing soon. This Pokemon has low HP and not a very good move set so that's why I'm giving it a low rating.

Lilligant - Guardians Rising Card Review

-REVIEW-

In this article I will be reviewing Lilligant from the Pokemon Sun & Moon Guardians Rising set!
Lilligant is a stage 1, grass type Pokemon with 90 HP. Its set number is 5/145 and it has a x2 weakness against fire types, no resistance, and a retreat cost of one colorless energy card. Lilligant has two moves, Petal Blizzard and Petal Dance. Its first move Petal Blizzard, requires one colorless energy card and does 10 damage to each of your opponent's Pokemon. Lilligants second move is Petal Dance, it requires one grass energy card and one colorless energy card. Petal Dance does 40 damage and tells you to flip 3 coins, for every time it lands on heads this attack does 40 more damage, then Lilligant becomes confused.

-RATING-

For this card's rating I'm going to give it 3/5 stars. This card has around average HP for a stage 1 Pokemon and has two pretty good moves, Petal Blizzard is an OK move for spread damage for only one energy card and Petal Dance can do some pretty good damage as well, but it mostly relies on luck. There is one bad part about Petal Dance and that is because after you use that move Lilligant becomes confused.
I would recommend putting this in your deck for good spread damage and potential 120 damage.
P.S You can't use Lilligant until you evolve it from Petilil

Petilil - Guardians Rising Card Review

-REVIEW-
In this article I will be reviewing Petilil from the Pokemon Sun & Moon Guardians Rising set!
Petilil is a Basic, grass type Pokemon with 50 HP. Petilil's set number is 4/145, It has a x2 weakness against fire type Pokemon, no resistance, and a retreat cost of one colorless energy card.
Petilil has one move called Blot, It requires one colorless energy and does 10 damage, it also says to heal 10 damage from Petilil.

-RATING-

For Petilil's rating I am going to give it 1/5 stars. This is a very weak Pokemon with only 50 HP and can only do 10 damage. I would not recommend using this card in a deck, however I would recommend using this card in a deck with it's evolution line.

Victreebel - Guardians Rising Card Review

-REVIEW-

In this article I will be reviewing Victreebel from the Pokemon Sun & Moon Guardians Rising set!
Victreebel is a stage 2, grass type Pokemon with 140 HP.  Victreebel's set number is 3/145, and is the evolved form of Weepinbell. It has a x2 weakness against fire type Pokemon, no resistance, and a retreat cost of two colorless energy cards. Victreebel has two moves, its first move is Pollen Hazard and it's second move is Stick and Absorb. Its first move Pollen Hazard requires one grass type energy and does 20 damage. Pollen Hazard also tells you that your opponent's active Pokemon is now Burned, Confused, and Poisoned.
Victreebel's second move, Stick and Absorb requires 1 grass energy and 2 colorless energy cards.
Stick and Absorb does 80 damage and heals 20 damage from Victreebel, it also tells you that during your opponents next turn their active Pokemon can't retreat.

-RATING-

For Victreebel's overall rating I am going to give it 4/5 stars. I think that this card is a very good stage 2 Pokemon and would definitely recommend using this card in a grass type deck. This card has high HP and can deal some pretty substantial damage for the cost of only one grass energy you can do 20 damage and give the opponents active Pokemon 3 special conditions!
Victreebel's second move is also pretty good, for only 3 energy's total you can do 80 damage, heal 20 damage from Victreebel, and stop the opponent's Pokemon from retreating next turn.
Like I said, this is a pretty good card but remember you can't get Victreebel into play unless you evolve from Bellsprout and Weepinbell. So with that being said I will give this Bellsprout, Weepinbell, and Victreebel line a 5/5 star rating!

Weepinbell - Guardians Rising Card Review

-REVIEW-

In this article I will be reviewing Weepinbell from the Pokemon Sun & Moon Guardians Rising
set! Weepinbell is a stage 1, grass type Pokemon with 80 HP. Weepinbell's set number is 2/145, and is the evolved form of Bellsprout. Weepinbell has a weakness x2 against fire types, no resistance, and a retreat cost of two colorless energy's. It has one move Muddy Acid, which requires one grass energy and one colorless energy. Muddy Acid does 40 damage and says to flip a coin, if heads discard an energy from your opponent's active Pokemon.

-RATING-

For Weepinbell's rating I'm going to give it 2/5 stars. In my opinion Weepinbell is somewhat of an average stage 1 Pokemon but like Bellsprout, it has low HP and doesn't have a very good attack. Since part of Weepinbell's attack relies mostly on chance I would not use this card in a deck without its complete evolution line.

Bellsprout - Guardians Rising Card Review

-REVIEW-

In this article I will be reviewing Bellsprout from the Pokemon Sun & Moon Guardians Rising set!
Bellsprout is a basic, grass type Pokemon with 60 HP. Bellsprout's set number is 1/145, it has a x2 weakness against fire types, no resistance, and a retreat cost of one colorless energy.
Bellsprout has one move called Vine Whip, this move requires one grass type energy and one colorless type energy. Vine Whip does 30 damage which is pretty low considering it takes 2 energy's.

-RATING-

For this card's overall rating I am going to give it a 1/5 star rating, in my opinion this card is very weak with only 60 HP and requiring 2 energy's for only 30 damage which is very low for the energy cost. My recommendation is that you do not use this card on its own in a deck, this card should be played with its complete evolution line to get the most use out of this card.
